About Us

The Ballroom Dance House (TBDH) is proudly owned and operated by U.S. and WDC World Professional Latin Showdance Champions, Ivan Kudashev and Ksusha Sokolova. With more than 15 years of teaching experience and over two decades of international medals and championship titles, they are recognized worldwide as elite professional ballroom dancers.

Ksusha Sokolova, born in Chelyabinsk, Russia, discovered her passion for dance at the age of five. She went on to earn two higher degrees—The Art of Choreography and Psychology & Pedagogy—from the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts. A competitive Ballroom and Contemporary dancer, Ksusha has taught, performed, and competed across the globe, sharing her artistry with dancers of all levels.

Ivan Kudashev, also born in Chelyabinsk, began dancing at the age of eight. As a key member of the renowned Impuls Formation Team until the age of nineteen, he earned the title of Russian National Vice-Champion, reached the finals of the European Championship, and advanced to the semi-finals of the World Championships.

Together, Ivan and Ksusha have proudly represented their country in competitions and performances around the world. They have earned numerous honors, including Bronze medals at both the European and World Championships in Latin Professional Show Dance.

Since moving to the United States in 2017, they have continued to excel, becoming U.S. National Professional Latin Show Dance Champions and U.S. Open Professional Latin and American Rhythm Finalists. Beyond their competitive success, they are dedicated partners, passionate teachers, and inspiring coaches, committed to guiding dancers of all ages and skill levels on their personal dance journeys.
