Ballroom dancing is a partnership dance where couples, using step-patterns, move rhythmically expressing the characteristics of music.

We teach all styles of Ballroom Dance, training for Competitions and Showcase and for pure social enjoyment. All ages are welcome, and you do not need to have a dance partner to dance with us. Come visit TBDH, we're excited to meet you.
DanceSport Pro-Am Competitions
COMPETITION & TRAINING
Dancesport Pro-Am competitions are very popular for students looking to take their training to the competitive ballroom floor. The opportunity to travel around the world, and compete against other students in their age and level category, is an exciting training path many students are passionate about. This takes great dedication and drive. As your coaches and partners (Pro-Am), we will guide you through this journey, with our collective goals and plan in mind keeping you focused throughout your training.
About Pro-Am
Pro-Am dancers (Professional and Amateur) are trained by their coach with a careful plan to match their skill level with goals for constant and steady growth. All dancers compete in heats against other dancers of a similar skill level and age category. What you learn on the competition floor is invaluable as you get back to the studio to keep working.
There are a variety of skill levels dancers will be entered in with the guidance of your coach/partner. And dancers may choose from the several different dance styles to compete in.
Being a competitor takes a tremendous amount of dedication and commitment. It's also a fun and rewarding experience with the opportunity to travel around the world, all year long.
